Kartik Aaryan gets ready to shoot for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake, unveils dance rehearsal for Allu Arjun’s chartbuster Buttabomma

With lockdown easing out in Mumbai and other parts of the country, slowly but steadily entertainment business is also coming back on track. Akshay Kumar has already resumed shooting of Prithviraj whereas Alia Bhatt too would be back on the sets of Gangubai Kathaiwadi in the coming week.

Meanwhile one young star who is also gearing up for the shooting of his next film, remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, has also given audience of glimpse of what’s cooking. Recently, Karti Aaryan unveiled a one minute rehearsal video of him dancing to the tune of ‘Buttabomma’, the chartbuster song from the Allu Arjun starrer.

“With this, it is as close to an official announcement as it can get without declaring it from the rooftops,” says an insider, “It is an open secret that Ekta Kapoor has signed up Kartik Aaryan for the remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde was practically the last blockbuster from the Indian film industry before pandemic started showing its ugly face. A complete family entertainer, it later also went on to be a blockbuster on the OTT premium. Ekta liked what she saw, bagged the rights of the film, and soon Kartik was on board.”

 

With back to back superhits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni aur Woh behind him, Kartik had anyways impressed audiences across all age groups, and hence was a straight forward choice for the film. The young actor too was glad to bag this opportunity and has been super excited ever since to begin shooting for the film.

 

“What was also needed was to have someone who could dance like a breeze with effortless grace,” the insider continues, “Hit music and catchy dance numbers were major contributors for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo to be popular amongst youth and with Kartik anyways carrying a relatable pitch with this segment right from the days of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, it was ‘sone pe suhaaga’. There are multiple catchy tracks that have been put together for the Hindi version of the film. Rest assured, ‘Buttabomma’ will feature as well.”

 

Will there be a Hindi version of ‘Ramuloo Ramulaa’ as well? Well, let’s wait and watch. If it indeed happens then rest assured, Kartik Aaryan would be glad to pick that up as well.
