There is no stopping Sultan. That said, there was no surprise whatsoever when the film did well on Monday too by collecting 15.54 crore at the Box Office. With a healthy strike rate being maintained, the film has now accumulated 195.90 crore already. Yes, there was a real chance for the film to actually cross 200 crore mark in six days itself. However, when one looks at the bigger picture, the fact remains that the Salman Khan starrer is still moving ahead at a rapid pace like no other movie before.

In fact, the film has now gone past the lifetime total of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Bajirao Mastani and is now challenging other biggies. Today, it would go past the following films:

Happy New Year – 205 crore

3 Idiots – 202.5 crore

Ek Tha Tiger – 199 crore

In fact, the film also has an outside chance to surpass the lifetime total of Salman Khan’s own Prem Ratan Dhan Payo [210 crore]. Once that happens, the film would be knocking the doors of Top-5 films of all time and that too on its eight day!

Meanwhile, at least for 2016, Sultan is now the biggest grosser as it has also gone past The Jungle Book [184.5 crore] which was on rampage when released in April. The film is a clear Blockbuster and it has to be seen the march that it takes towards the All Time Blockbuster tag.

Note: All collections as production and distribution sources
