Box Office – Happy Bhag Jayegi sets a record with increasing collections during weekdays

This hasn’t happened for as long as one can remember but it is indeed happening for Happy Bhag Jayegi. On each of the weekdays, the film is collecting more than the day gone by. Though collections fall for the biggest and the smallest of films during weekdays, a holiday in the middle of the week is helping this Mudassar Aziz film. Of course, the collections are on the lower side and the comparison between days is in lakhs. Still, for small films like these, any such progress is a mini-record in itself and the makers [Eros, Aanand L. Rai] could well be cherishing such small wins coming their way.

Hence, while Happy Bhag Jayegi collected 1.62 crore on Monday, Tuesday was marginally better [1.63 crore]. However, Wednesday [1.82 crore] has gone well for the film, courtesy Janamashtmi holiday on Thursday, due to which night shows had better occupancy. As a matter of fact, today would be even better than yesterday due to partial holiday factor and Happy Bhag Jayegi may turn out to be a rare film where Thursday collections could be on the same lines as the opening Friday!
