Box Office – Khan brothers set a good platform for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Freaky Ali

Freaky Ali is yet another Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer where he is the central protagonist. His Manjhi – The Mountain Man [1.4 crore] and Raman Raghav 2.0 [1 crore] haven’t quite boasted of a good start though former went on to cover its costs. While he has been doing well in films where he has a strong character role to play, he is yet to find a decent grosser to his name where he is carrying the film on his shoulders. In that aspect, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan have given him a good platform to shine with Freaky Ali.

This would ensure that the opening day of Freaky Ali is definitely the best ever for Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a leading man. It has to be seen though that how much further does he go from there since for that to happen, the word of mouth would have to be good and also travel very fast. The film promises to be an entertainer but would be solely dependent on the way Nawazuddin with support from Arbaaz Khan manages to pull it through under Sohail Khan’s direction.
