Box Office – Freaky Ali is biggest solo opener ever for Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Second release of the week, Freaky Ali, arrived at 1200 screens. The film has taken an opening of 2.55 crore and is the highest solo opener of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s career. Again, anything over 3 crore would have given this film a much better platform to rise on. That said, it is not a goner either as the Sohail Khan directed film again belongs to ‘word of mouth’ category.

Just like Baar Baar Dekho, this too has seen mixed reviews and audience feedback coming its way. If it grows further and somehow manages to have a weekend of around 8 crore plus, one could look forward to what the weekdays have to offer.
