Box Office – Baar Baar Dekho does low business, deserved better

Baar Baar Dekho has been collecting lesser than what one expected out of it. The film has netted 21.16 crore in its opening weekend but given the credentials that it came with, it has brought in at least 5 crore lesser than what seemed on the cards. In fact Sidharth Malhotra had enjoyed a better outing with Kapoor and Sons earlier this year. Yes, for Katrina Kaif the film is better than her last release Fitoor but then that film was a disaster. With Baar Baar Dekho, the feedback has been mixed and to be fair to the film, though it has some rough edges, it still deserves a better response than the kind coming its way.

Both Baar Baar Dekho and Freaky Ali have a lot of ground to cover in days to come and with two new releases ahead of it (Raaz Reboot and Pink), one waits to see how audiences respond to them before there is a clearer picture about the eventual verdict.
