Box Office – A Flying Jatt is aiming for a 30 crore extended weekend

Back in 2014, Tiger Shroff’s debut film Heropanti had collected 21.33 crore over the weekend. The Sabbir Khan directed film had managed to find good appreciation and eventually touched the 50 crore mark.

Circa 2016, and Tiger Shroff’s third film should come close to this number in its first 3 days. The film has collected 7.1 crore and 6 crore on Thursday and Friday respectively, and with that the collections currently stand at 13.1 crore. The film should come close to 20 crore by end of day. Post that, the makers (Ekta Kapoor, Remo D’Souza) would be keeping their fingers crossed to see the film come as close to 30 crore mark as possible. Though these numbers would be lesser than Tiger’s last film Baaghi [38.58 crore in 3 day weekend], that action musical was a different ballgame altogether while A Flying Jatt is aiming at kids.

A Flying Jatt has seen mixed reviews coming its way but considering the fact that children are giving the film a dekko, there is a specific target audience which can take it in its stride. For that, the growth over today and tomorrow would have to be closely observed so that the film stabilizes further during the weekdays. Since there is no real competition from any other film in the running, A Flying Jatt has the stage set for itself to see enhanced footfalls in days to follow.
